He
is the principal of the spine section within the OGP (orthopedics
associates) since 1994.
Before he passed through an intense orthopedic training; most of
this time he spent at renowned spine centers (e.g. Werner-Wickert-Klinik,
Bad Wildungen, Germany). Then he was appointed head of the spine
section at the Orthopedic Department at Göttingen University,
Germany. (See also CV).
Dr. med. Univ. Rudolph Bertagnoli, acquired his extensive orthopedic
training at such renowned spine centers as Werner-Wickert-Klinik,
Bad Wildungen, Germany. He was then appointed head of department
for the spine center of the Orthopedic Department at the University
of Göttingen. In 1994 he joined Orthopedics Associates as head
of department for spinal surgery.
He strives to offer a comprehensive concept of treatment for your
spinal problem (“Global spine management”). His credo
is that one needs to know every step of the “stairway of treatment”
to determine the right choice at every given moment of treatment.
The
treatments offered by Orthopedics Associates include conservative
treatment, injectins, minimal invasive surgery and invasive spinal
operations such as scoliosis correction.
Arthroplasty
began to develop in the 90ties. Dr. Bertagnolis’ main interest
was in this field of research right from the beginning and our department
meets the present state of the art. We can be considered forerunners
internationally and nationally in several techniques.
In the 1990ties arthroplasty began to develop: Dr. Bertagnoli put
his main emphasis on this sector of spinal surgery right from the
start. In this field our department meets the present state of art
– and acts on its international forefront in several techniques.

is an orthopedic surgeon who has been part of Dr. Bertagnolis’
team since 1996. Her professional training was influenced deeply by
Dr. Bertagnoli, which guarantees for an homogenous treatment within
our department, be it surgical or non-surgical.
Dr. Fenk-Mayer also went through intensive vocational training in
pain management. Therfore our “stairway of spine treatment”
includes the options and possibilities of algesiology as well.

Frank Pfeiffer |

is
a general surgeon who has been working in Dr. Bertagnolis’
spinal team since 2000. His special interests are spinal endoprosthetics
and its scientific evaluation. Dr. Pfeiffer worked more than 6 years
at the University Hospital of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and over 2 years
at Trauma surgery, Garmich-Partenkirchen. Thus he has profound knowledge
of general surgery, intensive care treatment, trauma surgery and
sports medicine. |
